Overview

OHI-vServer behaves similar to a dedicated operating system, but with a few kernel-level restrictions. It’s based on CentOS and allows you to change some of the environment. this VPS cloud server solution performs automated backups and is already loaded with software packages. It’s the easiest, least expensive way to get into the cloud.

UTILITY PRICING

OHI was one of the first VPS server providers to offer Utility Pricing. It’s different than the competition, most of which charge you a fixed amount for a prepackaged set of resources. With Utility Pricing, your price is based on actual use of your VPS server. You’ll pay only for the resources that you need, just as you do for your electricity.

How it works:

We charge you for three basic resources: RAM, hard disk and bandwidth. At any time, you can reduce or increase them and your price will adjust accordingly. Each month, you’ll be asked to make a commitment for the amount of resources your VPS server requires. The lowest level is $19.95/month per VPS. The higher your commitment level, the greater your discount. (Confused?)

How we bill:

We measure and record your VPS server usage throughout the day. At the beginning of the month, we’ll send you an invoice for the coming month’s commitment and last month’s usage, only if it exceeded the last month’s commitment.

Optional charges:

Each VPS server has one static IP address. Additional static IPs are $2/month per IP.

You can save even more by pre-paying. Deposit a set amount in your OHI account and we’ll withdraw what you owe every month. Pre-payment can be spread over all your VPS server addresses. Our discounts for pre-payment are:
